Denholm Energy Services can trace its roots back to 1866 when J. & J. Denholm was founded as ships agents on the Clyde estuary in Scotland. Over the next 160 years, Denholm expanded into ship owning, ship management, logistics, industrial services, seafoods and energy services.
Denholm companies have been operating in the energy market since 1974 and have been serving the North Sea since its inception. Over time the energy services business had grown internationally and in 2015 our success led to the decision to demerge from the Denholm Group to operate as an independent Group dedicated to serving the international energy, defence, marine and utilities markets.
Today we employ over 8,000 people in seven countries on four continents and turnover in excess of £400m. We continue to grow as a business both through acquisition and organically and have a strong track record in acquiring value added services that complement our existing services to meet our customers' requirements.
Today Denholm Energy Services has never been better placed to meet our customers' requirements both at home and internationally. We are very proud of our heritage and the solid platform that 160 years of ethical trading has afforded us.
